Is Military rule possible in India like Myanmar?

What is happening in Myanmar?

Present-day Myanmar was called Burma due to its larger Burmese community. In 1948 Myanmar got independence from the British and formulated democratic rule under Aung Sang(Father of Aung Sang Suu Kyi).

After the assassination of Aung Sang, there was no strong leadership, which caused the Military to take over control. From 1962 to 2010 there was a military rule.

In this time, So much protest happened against army rule by Aung Sang Suu Kyi, as a result, she was put on house arrest.

In 2008 Myanmar military passed an agreement stating that "Democratic rule can be established with 1/3rd of the military candidate in parliament"

Aung Sang Suu Kyi's lead party fought against this agreement, but no use of it. With no other option, on the same agreement, she competed in the election and selected as Chief advisory of the country.

In the 2017 Rohingya Muslim genocide, the Aung Sang Suu Kyi government was criticized for not taking any action against the criminals.

By taking this as advance, the Military tried to formulate the government with the USDP party in the 2020 election. But again she won with a single majority.

As the army is not able to accept all this, they took control over the government by putting all the leaders of the ruling party on house arrest.

Military Rule in India

Is this possible in India?

    1. There is no such a reservation(1/3rd is for Military) in any of the country including India.
    2. In India three different interdependent forces (ground, naval, air) have been interlinked.
    3. All the decisions can be reviewed either in parliament or Judicial.
Democratic basement in India is strong, the possibility of Military rule is less in India.
